Are You Responsible for a Common Area?
Many of the homes in our neighborhood have streets that run behind or alongside them. It is their responsibility to maintain this portion of their lot even if it is outside their wall. This includes picking all weeds, removing trash, and trimming bushes and trees. If a weed problem becomes extensive or bushes and trees block the sidewalk, the city will issue an official notice and can fine the homeowner if the problem is not corrected. If you are responsible for a common area please be sure to properly maintain it for values of our homes and the enjoyment of your neighbors.

If you are physically unable to maintain your property or common area and are experiencing a financial hardship that precludes you from hiring a third party for assistance, please contact us. You may be eligible to participate in our Adopt a Neighbor program.
