Last night the board members attended an informal meeting to discuss a few important issues for Vista del Mundo.
Landscaping
A top priority for VDMNA is landscaping and the beautification of our neighborhood, specifically the two entryways at Monte Verde and Pinnacle View. We will be accepting proposals this winter for yearly maintenance of these areas. Landscaping consumes the majority of our budget, so please remember to submit your 2019 membership dues and help keep your View Of The World beautiful.
If you are responsible for a common area, please be sure to keep your sidewalks free of weeds and other obstructions.
Holiday Party
The Vista del Mundo holiday party will be held on Sunday, December 16 from 6pm to 8pm at El Patron. Please join us for a relaxing evening meeting new neighbors and catching up with old ones while eating, drinking and being merry! Appetizers provided by the Vista del Mundo Neighborhood Association. Kindly RSVP by 12/12
Internet Presence and Social Media
The board also decided to increase its web presence so we will be converting our website to blog format on a new server. VDMNA has also created social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook where we will post events, notices and info. We will also resume our email newsletter so be sure to subscribe if you aren’t on the list.
Next Meeting
Our next board meeting is Sunday January 20. We will be discussing the 2019 budget, landscape proposals, newsletter content and upcoming social activities. If there is a topic you would like to discuss or if you would like to attend please let us know.
